TerraCottem® Application Rates - Lawns, Ornamental Beds, Raised Beds, Gardens & Roof Gardens
Rates (Metric)
100 grams per m2 area, or 500 grams per m3 growing media mixed off-site.
Rates (Imperial)
3 ounces per yd2 area, or 20.5 pounds (avoirdupois) per 1,000 square feet, or 13.5 ounces per yd3 growing media mixed off-site.
TerraCottem® Application Method - Lawns, Ornamental Beds, Raised Beds, Gardens & Roof Gardens
1. Apply TerraCottem (=TC) to surface area at recommended rate with a fertilizer spreader or mix off-site with growing media and apply this mixture to surface.
2. For smaller areas (e.g. a couple of dozen square meters/yards) and slopes apply TerraCottem manually at recommended rate.
3. Mix into the rootzone to a depth of 20 cm/8 inches with a rotovator, rotoray hoe or rototiller, across the length and width of the area.
4. For slopes, use a hoe to incorporate the product into the soil at a depth of 20 cm/8 inches.
5. Firm soil.
6. Prepare soil for seeding.
7. Seed, sod, sprig
8. Or plant shrubs and flower beds.
9. Water thoroughly.
