TerraCottem® Application Rates - Sports Turf, Golf Greens, Tees & Fairways
Rates (Metric)
100 grams per m2 area, or 500 grams per m3 growing media mixed off-site.
Rates (Imperial)
3 ounces (avoirdupois) per yd2 area, or 893 pounds per acre, or 20.5 pounds per 1,000 square feet, or 13.5 ounces per yd3 growing media mixed off-site.
TerraCottem® Application Method - Sports Turf, Golf Greens, Tees & Fairways
- Apply TerraCottem® to surface area at recommended rate with drop-type seeder or spreader* or mix off-site with growing media and apply this mixture to surface.
- Mix into the root zone to a depth of 20 cm/8 inches with a rotovator, rotary hoe or rototiller, across the length and width of the area*.
- Firm soil and prepare soil for seeding.
- Seed, sod or sprig.
- Water thoroughly.
* Manual application (casting by hand) and mixing (with a hoe) may be necessary on steep slopes and bunker surrounds.
